Franchise Fee

A full unit of the Mang Inasal franchising required P15 million to P30 million. The actual amount of franchising depends upon the size, location and market conditions of the area. The basic requirements by Mang Inasal: the store floor area should be 220 to 280 square metres and the front end of the store should be 13 meters. This is exclusive of parking space.

Breakdown of investment

The complete breakdown of franchise investment is given below:

Design Fee

 The design fee is also paid by the franchise owner which is approximately Php 160,000. The design and layout of the franchise are provided by the Mang Inasal however the construction instructions provided by Mang Inasal. On request, Mang Inasal can also provide their partner contractors to build franchises.

Service Fee & Advertising Fee

The applicant have to paid the service and advertising fee to the Mang Inasal. The service fee is 5% of the gross sale and the advertising fee is 3% of the gross sale which we have to pay Mang Inasal every month. Keep in mind, that there are also renovation fee which is Php 7 to Php 9 million and product security deposit which are Php 400,000.

Setup Fee or initial franchising fee

The initial franchise price is 1.2 million which is paid by the franchise. This fee is non-refundable and VAT exclusive this fee includes trademarks, assistance and support by the main branch. This price also includes the setup of the franchise and training of the whole staff and personnel.

Mang Inasal Franchising Contract and ROI

Contract Period

The contract period lasts for 10 years which is renewable and depends upon the overall performance of the franchise.

Return on Investment

However, Mang Inasal can not officially disclose any ROI figures. It all depends upon the franchise location, franchise expense management, promotions & marketing, and the local market condition. If franchises are located in high-traffic areas then the profitability is greater. The profitability all depends upon the location and wise management of all expenses of the stores. Types of Franchise Stores

There are four styles of stores which are the following:

Free-Standing Store

Free-standing stores are stand-alone stores which are not attached to any building or mall. These stores have sufficient parking areas.

Mall Store

These stores are located along the malls or near the malls. The Mang Inasal prefer these stores because these stores can get a lot of customers due to high traffic.

In-Store

These stores are present within the buildings having larger spaces and tenants on both sides.

Food Court

 These stores are present in shopping malls, buildings and high-traffic areas with self-dining experience.

Business Experience

The candidate should have a business background, follow government and industry regulations.

Financial Standing

The candidate should have a strong financial background to build and maintain the franchise successfully.

Commitment to Partnership

Location Capacity

 The location of a franchise plays a major role in the success of any store. The store should be in a high-traffic/commercial/residential area to generate greater leads.

Area of franchise

 The franchise floor area should be 220-280 square metres and the store frontage should be 13 meters which is exclusive of parking space.

Mang Inasal Franchising Application Process

You have just followed the two steps to complete the application process which are the following:

Prepare the required documents

  • Signed Letter of Intent: (includes terms and conditions between both parties which are going to collapse. This letter of intent provides security to both parties if they are ready to meet) You can get this letter from here.
  • Site map: Indicate land and nearby places (Google Maps Screen Shot of Map & Satellite View at 100m Scale) and highlight on the map your proposed location.
  • Photos of proposed location: 360 degrees view {front view (100m away & 300m away)/across street/ both sides of Street}
  • Lot Plan plus Layout: Indicating the area for lease with measurements/dimensions
  • Site Development Map/ Floor Layout: (Applicable to Malls only)
  • Lease Offer/Details (if available)

Processing Time

After submitting the required documents the Mang Inasal franchising team review the application and documents it takes 30 to 60 days if all the documents meet the criteria then the franchise will be awarded to you after 2-3 weeks. After that, the agreement will be signed between the applicant and Mang Inasal. The franchise team and the applicant will undergo the training program which includes courses, seminars, live classes and hands-on training in existing stores.
